UGO UGOCHUKWU HEADS TO MELBOURNE FOR MAIDEN F3 CAMPAIGN
Following a strong end to his Formula Regional Middle East campaign, where he scored four podiums in the last six races, Ugo Ugochukwu is set to make the step-up to FIA Formula 3 next week in Australia for Prema Racing.
Ugo will return to Prema Racing, with whom he won the inaugural Euro 4 Championship in 2023 and also had strong showings in the Italian and UAE F4 championships in the same year, along with a promising end to last year’s Formula Regional European season in which Ugo scored a commanding win in wet conditions at Monza.
Despite a long season ahead, Ugo is no stranger to Formula 3 cars, having first driven them in the 2023 Macau Grand Prix and having also participated in the 2024 FIA F3 post-season testing at Barcelona.
Ugo has also driven the new Dallara F3 2025 chassis, which is set to be used this year, in the pre-season tests at Barcelona, where he was 12th on both day 1 and 3 in the afternoon and morning sessions respectively.
The 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship is set to feature 10 rounds, all supporting Formula 1. The season will start at the Albert Park Street Circuit in Melbourne, Australia on March 14–16.
